Possessing over 20 years of direct real estate investment and real estate finance experience, the firm seeks to acquire and finance real estate assets that have attributes to deliver premium risk-adjusted returns to our investor partners. The principals of the firm have been directly involved in the development, acquisition, financing and disposition of more than $855,000,000 of assets over the past fifteen years. Properties have included an array of asset classes (office, industrial, medical, retail, multi-family, refrigerated storage) over a broad geographic footprint (British Columbia to Ontario, Canada & select US markets).

WIPIC utilizes a comprehensive network of relationships and a proven track record developed over many years to source quality commercial real estate investments. Our investment criteria will be governed by the equity investor needs of our investor partners, and will require our investments to provide a dependable and stable cash flow, with manageable risk, and the potential to enhance value through proactive asset management.

WIPIC, along with its principals, invest in each real estate investment alongside our investor partners ensuring our firm’s strategic decisions are motivated by objectives that are aligned with those of our long-term investment partners. We employ a long-term approach to our real estate investments, and opportunistically seek to realize on our investment gains subject to market conditions.

Each member of the WIPIC team contributes to the execution of each asset’s business plan. A comprehensive due diligence process is utilized to underwrite and evaluate each investment opportunity. This process includes the evaluation of market demographics, physical investigation and analysis of the structural integrity of the capital asset, environmental conformance of the asset to regulatory standards and financial and tenancy evaluation to detail that the risks associated with our investments are understood and manageable.

Once acquired, WIPIC applies a very proactive approach to leasing, construction and asset management. This proven process has produced a strong track record of improving market position, cash flow and property values.
